Blurb, San Francisco, Calif., creator of the Photography.Book.Now International Juried Competition announces a panel of jurors for the competition. Lead Judge Darius Himes, co-founder of Radius Books, will chair the panel for the second year. Himes picked a group of international photographers, photography editors, directors, and gallery curators to select the winning photography books in three categories -- fine art, editorial, and commercial -- and one $25,000 grand prize winner.

Jurors include Vice Aletti, photography critic; Anthony Bannon, director, George Eastman House; Dana Faconti, Blind Spot art and photography magazine; Karen Hangsen, Rizzoli Publications; William Hunt, Hasted Hunt Gallery; Jodi Peckman, Rolling Stone; Platon, photographer; and Kira Pollack, NY Times Magazine. Juror biographies and full category descriptions are available online.

Submissions to the competition will be accepted through July 16, 12:00 p.m. PDT. The Photography.Book.Now International Juried Competition is presented by Blurb, a creative publishing and marketing platform that enables anyone to design, publish, share and sell bookstore-quality books. Photography.Book.Now is an international juried self-published book competition, and a celebration of the finest photography books and the people behind them.
